About Kamakshi

Kamakshi Hart, M.A. in Spiritual Psychology, has been in the personal and spiritual growth field for over 30 years. She offers trauma-informed coaching and healing sessions for life, loss, family, and relationship issues. She is a Rites of Passage and Vision Quest Guide, as well as an Equine-Assisted Coach and Healer. She leads individuals and small groups in nature-based ritual and ceremony to create new inner and outer worlds that reflect the witnessed truth of self and soul discovery.

Kamakshi brings all of this, and more, into her two award-winning one-woman shows, which tell her riveting story of recovery from trauma with themes of hope, resilience, and healing against the odds. She also teaches trauma-informed practices that cultivate empathy and compassion, and coaches people in telling their own stories for creative and therapeutic expression. Kamakshi lives among the oak trees in the mountains north of Los Angeles, where she leads one-on-one and group programs. She shares this land with her two “energy-healer” horses, Jesse and Drifter, who love welcoming people to the ranch.

Equine Assisted Therapy

Equine-assisted coaching is a powerful, experiential process in which horses serve as mirrors for our inner world. In partnership with these intuitive beings, you’ll explore patterns of communication, boundaries, trust, and emotional awareness. Horses respond to authentic energy, helping you recognize where you are in or out of alignment without judgment or pretense.

Through guided interaction and reflection, this work fosters self-regulation, confidence, and embodied presence. It is less about riding and more about remembering how to lead and connect from truth, stillness, and heart coherence.
